You don’t need much equipment to get started!

1. Large stainless steel pan or bowl.Thermometer

2. Scales to weigh your fibers and dyestuff

3. Spoon or tongs

4. Natural fibers - Cellulose / Protein

5. Cheese cloth or scrap fabric to sieve petals or leaves

6. Hob

7. Water

2. Scouring - Soapnuts which can be bought from us.

   Or Orvus paste for (Protein fibers) and Synthrapol for (Cellulose). These can be bought online from external sites.

3. Mordanting - Alum & Soda Ash which we hope to stock soon but for now you can find online from external sits.

4. Iron - optional if you want to modify colors to produce darker shades

5. citric acid - optional to modify colors to make them brighter.
